Annual Retention Fee

We have introduced an Annual Retention Fee. From the 1 August 2025, those centres which have not spent in the previous twenty four month period will be charged £1,200 to retain their Approved Centre status.

Cohort Fees

For all ITEC centres we have a minimum cohort fee of £1,200. The fee for ITEC qualifications is based on the requirement for a practical examination. Your centre will be invoiced for the difference between your booking and the minimum cohort fee of £1,200.

VTCT Centres

For VTCT international centres, the amount of the minimum expenditure is £2,700. A pro-forma invoice will be issued in January of each year. Customers will be asked to pay the amount of £2,700 to VTCT at the beginning of each academic year, to be held on account. Any invoiced expenditure throughout the year will then be offset against this payment. Once the £2,700 balance on the account has been ‘used’, centres will then be invoiced for any registrations/booking fees incurred with the usual 30-day payment terms.

Dual-Branded Centres

Any international centre that wants to offer both iTEC & VTCT qualifications will be required to meet a minimum expenditure of £2,700. Only spend which results in an invoice directly to your VTCT provision can contribute to your minimum expenditure requirement. All iTEC qualifications will be invoiced as per the iTEC minimum cohort fee (see above). Please note: Invoices relating to practical bookings will not contribute towards VTCT minimum expenditure due to their different quality assurance arrangements.

Practical Exams Window Timeline

Practical exam bookings must be made 12 weeks prior to the Practical Exam date. Registrations of learners on the exams must be completed 8 weeks prior to any exam date.

Any changes to learner registrations after 6 weeks prior to the Practical Exam date will incur additional charges. Invoices need to be settled 6 weeks prior to Practical Exam date.

Record of Achievement Books

The prices of our Record and Assessment books will increase slightly from the 1st of August. Note that the minimum order quantity for these books remains at 2 copies, with any subsequent order sizes also in multiples of 2.
